How We Got Started

In 1992, under the guidance of our Guru; Very Venerable Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche, Thrangu Phende Clinic was established to provide medical care for the monks of the monastery but soon Rinpoche realized that the community needed the care as well so, was made available for everyone.
